Sunday, April 30, 6:00 pm, Location: The Westin Bayshore

Kick off the conference with some live music in a relaxed atmosphere as you participate in a silent auction and mingle with fellow delegates. Proceeds benefit the Canadian Evaluation Society Educational Fund (CESEF).

The opening reception will feature music from V & G Entertainment. V & G Entertainment serve the Greater Vancouver Area as well as Whistler, Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. They have been providing live music for weddings and other special events for nearly 20 years. With a large roster of professional musicians available, V & G cater the perfect musical ensemble to each and every event. These ensembles include classical string quartets, jazz trios/quartets, cover/dance bands, pianists, harpists, bagpipers and their popular Violin & Guitar duo.

The evening will feature live music entertainment from KOKOSOUL! The tantalizing combination of Karina Morin and Karlo Martin come together to form KOKOSOUL, one of Vancouver’s most accomplished groups. Performing as a quartet, with a huge variety of favourite classics & modern hits, all performed with passion and soul, in their own inimitable style, sure to leave a lasting impression!

Connect and innovate at the Networking Space. On Monday and Tuesday afternoon, the Space will feature a Science World KEVA station, where you can work together to harness the ingenuity of your imagination by creating unique structures.

Join colleagues for drinks, snacks and prizes at the late-night hospitality suite!

The hospitality suite will offer complimentary tasting stations of local BC beers and wines with non-alcoholic options available, a raffle with prizes donated from various CES chapters, and live acoustic music from Kristina and Danny:

Kristina and Danny bring together folky, jazzin’, and bluesy tunes that run through the heart and mind and into their voices and hands. They mix both original and cover songs into sometimes intense, sometimes sweet moments of musical interaction. Kristina and Danny are both avid songwriters who deeply express their feelings about the healing power of music, and are grateful about their meeting through the Vancouver Adapted Music Society.
